Allyson Felix
Allyson Michael Felix a Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was evident right from the day she was enrolled at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within 10 weeks of her first tryout she came in second place in the 200-meter race during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003. She then enrolled at University of Southern California to study elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic Medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. She set an Junior World Record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 second. She was the youngest world champion of 200 meters in the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007, beating her former Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance in Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, as well as Tokyo. She always finished at the top of the podium in all events.
